If you gather stuff you find on the street by people who throw this away you might find yourself with enough material to build something nice. It was supposed to be a one floor bunny house but I was lucky enough to find a coffee table which allowed me to make another floor. I also searched a Dutch second hand website called Marktplaats where sometimes things are given away for free. Most of the wood I gathered came from a renovation of an 18th century home in The Hague city centre. The inside of the bunny house is mostly made of an old wooden pellet I found on the street, there are wooden cabinet shelves in there too as well as woodstrips of a door. It took me about three weeks to gather and assemble. the screws came from a wardrobe. The paint from Marktplaats. The roofing was left by the former tenant. The only thing I bought were the hinges.
