This is an all in one pot dish.

Easy to make & prepare.

It is really hearty & filling and will leave you feeling all warm inside on a cold winters day.

You Will Need (9 things)

  • Mince
  • Carrot
  • Onion
  • Potatoes
  • Beef Stock
  • Dough balls / Dumplings

  • 4 oz Self-Raising Flour
  • 2 oz Suet
  • 5 tbsp Water

Steps (6 steps, 60 minutes)

    Brown the mince.

    Cut the onions & carrot into small dice.

    Add the carrot & onion & cook for approx 5 mins. Until the veg is just starting to soften.

    Cut the potatoes into cubes. Not as small as the carrot & onion.

    Add the potatoes & beef stock.

    Bring to the boil & reduce to a simmer.

    Cook for approx 20 mins or until the potatoes are just cooked through.

    In a bowl, place the flour, suet & enough water to bring together.

    Roll into small balls.

    Place into the pot on top of the mince. Place the lid back onto the pot & cook for approx 10 - 15 mins, or until the dough balls are cooked through.

    Serve piping hot with buttered bread.
