Gather your materials, you'll need a simple paper craft too. Here I'm making a paper gem. I typically use a craft knife, I think it creates a nice clean fold.
First cut out your paper craft, then place your ruler up against the lines and gently run your scoring tool across the whole line. Score all of your fold lines.
If you're using a craft knife be sure to only apply a little bit of pressure, the idea is to make a surface cut on the paper, do not cut all the way through!
The bonefolder is nice for beginners or children. The directions are the same as a craft knife only with the bonefolder you can apply more pressure to make the line dent in your paper.
Once you've created all of your score lines go ahead and start your folding.
