When our Cyanotype Kit arrived from Jacquard, I had a look around the CO+K office for something awesome to print with when I spotted my scissors jar and knew they would look amazing on tights.
When our Cyanotype Kit arrived from Jacquard, I had a look around the CO+K office for something awesome to print with when I spotted my scissors jar and knew they would look amazing on tights.
You'll need a pair of light tights to print on for this project.
We need to stretch the tights to get the print to look just right, so trace around your legs onto a large piece of cardboard and then cut out the template for your legs.
Carefully slip the tights over the cardboard so that they're all stretched out.
Protect your surface with a bin bag, lay the tights down and arrange your scissors in a design you like.
Mix up the Cyanotype solution in the dark and pop in a spray bottle.
Spray the tights in the dark with the solution and leave to dry.
Expose to sunlight for 10 minutes and then rinse the tights well.
Leave to dry then try on!
