I was going to throw away this soda bottle, but i felt like it could be used for something better than filling up my trash can- I'm such a packratttt [: I'm also half-obsessed with the word "savage," [odd] so i decided to make a band. I started out with the construction paper letters, but ended up taking them off to use magazine letters instead, because there were too many air bubbles in the transparent tape. I thought using magazine made the word seem more like what it should anyway, but I put up pictures of how to do both so you can choose.

Remove the label from the bottle and cut off the rounded top of it.
Cut it down the middle, then cut a strip off the top of the bottle according to how wide you want your bracelet. Cut off the parts where the label stuck.
Get out the electrical tape and wrap, wrap, wrap.
Close the open end with another piece of tape
Start cutting out your letters. Whether you use construction paper or magazine is your choice, but i preferred the magazine because it looked rougher.
Start taping your letters on. If you used magazine letters, use pieces of tape wrapped in on themselves to stick them on.If you used construction paper, you can stick them on that way, too, or just put a piece of tape over the whole letter.
If you used magazine letters, put a small piece of clear tape over the letter.
If you used magazine letters, line in between the letters with electrical tape. Line the top and bottom, too. If you used contruction paper, cover the whole thing in clear tape. Try your best to smooth the air bubbles before you stick the tape all the way down. My band still had raw edges so i took more electrical tape and smoothed the edges down.
Done ! There are still a few air bubbles in mine, but they got smoothed out after the picture . If you guys make one, post it so i can see (:
