No worries no real sand is required, 'sand' refers to the sandy colour and crumbly texture of these crisp Dutch cookies. I wanted to eat cookies so bad yesterday but it was raining so I took a look at what we had lying around in the cabinets and decided to make these easy to bake cookies. Because I didn't have the usual amount of each ingredients I could only make 10... 10 delicious cookies!
optional: you could add precut nuts, dried fruit or small pieces of chocolate to the dough.

Knead the ingredients with cool hands together until it forms a dough ball (do this quickly)
Optional: you can also use a mixer with a dough hook attachment.Add a few drops of milk if the mixture is too crumbly.
