Salted Caramel Popcorn Brownies

Chocolate chunk brownies stuffed with popcorn and drizzled in salted caramel!

I've been trying to convince my friends to come to a craft night in Edinburgh with me every Tuesday, so this week I turned to bribery and made some brownies to tempt them along. Turnout was better than ever!

You Will Need (10 things)

  • 100 g Flour
  • 100 g Butter
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 40 g Cocoa
  • 3 Eggs
  • 50 g Dark Chocolate
  • 50 g White Chocolate
  • 100 g Popcorn
  • Caramel Sauce
  • Sea Salt

Steps (9 steps, 45 minutes)

    Whisk together the butter and sugar and then add each egg, one at a time.

    Add the flour and cocoa.

  3. 3

    Chop some white chocolate and dark chocolate into chunks.

  4. 4

    Whisk the chunks into your brownies.

  5. 5

    Spread the brownie batter out into a greased baking tin.

  6. 6

    Spread the popcorn on top and then press down into the batter mix with your spatula, crushing if necessary.

    Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with some sea salt.

    Bake at 180'c for 20 minutes and then cut into chunks.

    Serve in a popcorn tub!
