These ornaments are so simple and fun, and a great thing to be crafting with children. My son, who's currently 2,5 years old, painted these and helped me glitter them.

You Will Need (7 things)
- Salt dough (made out of 3 parts flour, 1 part Salt , and 1 to 1,5 part water. Add a tablespoon of olive oil)
- Rolling Pin
- Cookie Cutters
- Pen/brush/something thin and round to make holes through the Ornaments
- Felt pens/ Crayons /paint
- Glue
- Glitter
Steps (4 steps, 120 minutes)
-
1
Roll out the salt dough and use the cookie cutters to punch out the shapes of the ornaments. Punch a small hole in each one, so that you can hang them when they’re done. Let the dough dry for several days. The thicker the ornaments are, the longer it takes to dry.
-
2
Paint the ornaments with felt pens, crayons and/or craft paint. Let dry.
-
3
Spread a thin layer of glue on the surface of the ornaments, and pour glitter over it. Let it dry again. Brush off the glitter that hasn’t stuck to the glue, using a paper towel.

Now you’re done and can hang the ornaments in your Christmas tree - or why not hang them from a branch to create a mobile?
