finally i made this bag!! i should do a lot of work for my final collection at university but i thought making something for me is much better :D i will go on holidays in a few weeks and was in need of a bag for my beach stuff, perfect! i bought some comic fabric that reminds me of sin city for a curtain and made the bag out of the leftovers. for a colour accent i painted the mouth of the lady red with fabric paint. originally i wanted a press button closure, but i always have bad luck with them, everytime i open that buttons they fall out and leave an ugly hole... the lining is red (like the mouth), i found it in my personal "bargain bin" at home, i made a facing which i sewed at the top of the lining. maybe i should sew along the upper edge again so everything stay in place... all in all, it was really easy to make and didn´t take long so you don´t loose patience :) i changed the dimensions a bit and didn´t make an extra part for the bottom, i just sewed the outer bag except the top, fold the lower corners so the seams are alined and sewed across in a 90 degree angle.
