About

This skirt (and top you can see in one of the photographs) was a challenge set by Marisa (of New Dress a Day blog). We both sourced a thrifted dress for each other, and mailed them across the seas. (I'm in Melbourne, Australia and Marisa in LA)

Steps (1 step, 180 minutes)

  1. 1

After cutting the dress in half, I made the bottom half into a rah-rah skirt, with a flat front using interfacing and an elastic waist casing at the back.

The top I pieced together using a Sorbetto sewing pattern.
