- Make a stitch line ½” away from the edge. Do NOT back stitch and again make sure to leave a long thread at each end.
- You will need to make gathering stitch for all the remaining strips.
Pull the two threads on the top GENTLY and you will see the ruffle coming together.
You will need to keep pulling and move the ruffle along the strip until your strip measures 10.5”
In total, you should have 9 ruffles. Place them in the order that you want on the pillow.
Stitch the first ruffle on the pillow front. On your pattern, you will find the ruffle placement line.
Once your first ruffle is stitched and secured, you will continue to stitch the second, third, and so on.
This is what it should look like after you stitched all 9 strips.
Stitch the pillow front and back together. Make sure you leave an opening approximately 3” at the bottom of the pillow. Your seam allowance is 1/2"
Turn the pillow inside out and stuff it.
Hand stitch the opening closed. And you are done!
