   Start with your any long-sleeved t-shirt.

   Cut a wide scoop neck.

   Cut sleeves short at an upward angle.

   Hem neckline and sleeves.

   Put elastic thread in bobbin case and set stitch length to longest possible length. Shirr sleeves and neckline.

   Cut open sleeves along seam.

   Fold sleeves in half and cut.

   Hem or sew a bias tape around ruffles.

   To make a ruffle fast, shirr along un-finished edge.

    Sew ruffles together.

    Find center-front of shirt and sew ruffles on to shirt.

    Add buttons to front of ruffles.

    Shirr about 10 rows above hem of shirt to end or ruffles.
