I have just learnt how to make royal icing and had to try it on something. I made the Sprinkles beforehand (as they take time to dry). I had a lot more of the icing left over and decided to decorate the doughnuts after dipping them in the chocolate glaze :):) Royal Icing sprinkles recipe:http://bestfriendsforfrosting.com/2011/10/how-to-make-your-own-sprinkles/ Chocolate recipe: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Chocolate-With-Cocoa-Powder

Milk+ Vanilla+ Butter
Mix
Flour+ Sugar powder+ Baking Powder+ Baking soda
Mix
Dough: Mix both the milk and flour mixture to form a soft dough. Lightly coat with oil Cover Let it sit for half an hour
Cut into shapes
Deep fry: Fry in batches. Fry each batch for 2 minutes. Let drain on paper towels. Give it a chocolate glaze. (I used home-made chocolate.) If you are going to add sprinkles then sprinkle immediately before the glaze dries.
Or Coat with royal sugar after the glaze dries (I know.. the designs are weird)
Let it set overnight.
Cover them with upturned fruit bowls.
