Take a lock of hair and twist it. Be sure the entire length is twisted firmly and evenly to the ends without any kinks or buckles.
Wrap the coil around the center start point. Keep the coil as flat as possible. Twist the lock of hair tighter during coiling for extra hold.
For the smoothest coils, mist each lock with water or use styling balm.
Use the Rose Head rosette pins and leaf pins to pin the coil in place: at least 3 pins per coil. Push each pin under and through each coil, close to the scalp. The plain pins may be removed. For extra fun, color your Rose Head coils with rose tinted hair spray, and perfume them with rose scented cologne.
