The real time consuming part is the wait in between paint coats!

You Will Need (6 things)

  • 1 x Lighter
  • 1 yd nylon color Rope
  • 2 yd nylon neon Twine
  • 1 x neon Spray Paint
  • 1 x Glue
  • 3 x copper Couplings 1/2" - 3/4" - 1"

Steps (12 steps, 50 minutes)

  1. 1

tape the part that you want to leave in natural copper on the three pressure slip couplings

  2. 2

spray paint the couplings - wait at least 15-20 minutes and repeat to 5 coats

  3. 3

once it's all dry remove the tape

  4. 4

double your cord and thread the larger of the couplings leaving two shorter ends on one side of the rope

  5. 5

    thread the medium size coupling

  6. 6

    and then the smaller one

  7. 7

pull the rope tight around the couplings

  8. 8

make sure that the length of the rope is long enough to go over your head and cut the excess

  9. 9

burn the ends of the ropes to make sure they won't unravel and add some glue to join the ropes together

  10. 10

wrap a little tape around the joint together with the neon nylon twine

  11. 11

wrap the neon nylon twine around the ropes / repeat on the other side.
