Root Beer Flavored Icing

A twist on a simple American butter cream icing

This icing was super easy to make.

You will need

1 tbsp salted Butter (if it's unsalted, add 1/4 tsp of salt) 4 cup Powdered Sugar 1 tsp Root Beer Extract 3 tbsp Heavy Cream (Half and Half and even milk can be subbed in for this. We used whole milk.)

This icing was super easy to make.

Instructions

1. We took a standard American butter cream icing recipe and subbed out the vanilla extract for root beer extract. We're still playing around with the exact recipe, but it tastes great, and when paired with vanilla cake, reminds one of a root beer float.
