You can dress them up to rock out on stage or wear them everyday with jeans and a sweet band tee! I'll show you an awesome way to take some old guitar picks and turn them into rockin earrings. Just follow these simple steps and you'll be on your way to being a rock & roll queen!

You Will Need (9 things)

  • Ruler
  • Drill
  • 4 Jump Ring
  • 2 Jewellery Pliers
  • 18 in Jewelry Chain
  • 2 Guitar Pick
  • 2 Earring Hook
  • Wood Blocks
  • Sand Paper

Steps (7 steps, 30 minutes)

  1. 1

    Gather All Your Supplies:
    4 small jump rings
    2 earring hooks
    18 inches of chain
    2 guitar picks
    scrap wood
    2 pairs of pliers
    ruler
    fine sand paper/ emery board
    and a drill with a small bit

    Drill a small hole into both of your guitar picks.

    its tricky and i suggest using a small piece of wood so that your drill doesn't make a hole in your work surface.

    It takes some time but when your done you should end up with something like this.

    Next step take your chain and cut 6 small pieces off it using your pliers.

    They should vary from 1-1 1/2 inches.

    Then open your small jump ring with your pliers and connect all of your small chain pieces to your earring hook.

    (Tip: Use both pair of pliers to open/close the jump ring)

    Then take another Jump ring and connect your guitar pick to one of your chain pieces.

    Then Repeat Steps 2-6 with your other earring and voila! you got your self a sweet pair of Rocker Chick Earrings that you can wear to any concert or open mic night!
