I purchased this top at the 99 cent sale at the Thrift Shop. It was cute but it had the flaw of constantly slipping down and revealing my bra. So I decided to remake it into a cute Pin Up top.

Description

I purchased this top at the 99 cent sale at the Thrift Shop. It was cute but it had the flaw of constantly slipping down and revealing my bra. So I decided to remake it into a cute Pin Up top.

Instructions

    Started off with a slightly blousy top with a twist in the front.

  2. I started by taking it in using the standard fitted t-shirt method. Then I picked out the stitches holding the twist in the front shut. This

    Using the scraps I cut off from the side, I sewed a couple of small straps to make a tie. I pinned and sewed one to the top center and one just below the bust.

    Gather and tie your straps creating a rouched effect and you are done!
