    Creating your robin decoration ~ Use pattern (not to scale - increase or decrease to desired size) to cut out the body x 2, wings x 2 and 1 x red breast. Link to pattern - http://i474.photobucket.com/albums/rr102/incywincystitches/pattern_pieces.jpg

    Next slot the red felt and ribbon between the 2 body pieces and pin then tack (stitch lightly) into position. Then tack the 2 wings into position ensuring that they sit slightly over the red breast. Your robin can now be machine or hand stitched …

    Machine stitch around your robin as image ... (or) Hand stitch – blanket stitch around the edge (black spots), then use running stitch around breast and over wing (white spots).
