Robin Hood Hat

This simple hat could be used as part of a costume for anyone from Robin Hood to Pinocchio!

Instructions

1. 

   Cut out the hat by folding the felt in half and placing the right edge of the pattern, as shown in the photo, on the fold.

2. 

   Stitch 1/4" from the upper edge as shown.

3. 

   Flatten the point on the back where the stitching and fold meet. Stitch a curved line and cut away the excess point.

4. 

   Turn the hat right side out. Fold the brim up 2" at the back, then taper the fold toward the front of the hat, ending about 1/2" on either side of the front point. Press with a steam iron.

5. 

   Hot glue a feather inside the brim on one side.
