Ripped Jeans Bracelet
Ripped jeans vs. ripped accessories!

The trend for this summer is ripped jeans. When I was done shredding, I had lots of strips of jeans left and I just started playing with them. Et voila!
The best knife for the job is some sort of corrugated steak knife. Normal knives with a smooth blade don't really work the fabric as well.

You Will Need (5 things)
- A piece of Wood or a brick
- A Knife
- Needle And Thread
- A piece of Jeans
- Scissors
Steps (6 steps, 30 minutes)
-
1
Cut a strip from your piece of jeans, long enough to fit around your wrist. You get the best results by using a seam - like the underside of pants etc.) so the jeans is twice as thick, otherwise you'll cut through when slicing.
(It's a bangle bracelet, so you have to be able to slide it on and off. Hold this in account when cutting!)

2
Now get your wood or brick. I used a block of wood, but a brick works just as well.
-
3
Place your strip of jeans on the wood, along the edge.
-
4
Now get your knife and just move it down along your jeans. For those of you who've ever sharped a knife: that's the movement you're looking for!
-
5
Repeat this a couple of times, until your strip is as worn and torn as you want it to be.

When you're done, sew the two ends together. And there's your bracelet!
