Tom discovered Rilakumma while were in Japan and he soon became his new favourite character. To cheer him up on a gloomy Monday, I decided to make him a super adorable bento box with a rice Rilakumma face!

You Will Need (7 things)
- Sweet chilli Rice
- 3 Black Olives
- Small amount of Nori
- Sushi , snacks and sides
- Small amount of Salad
- ¼ Cucumber
- 1 slice of Quorn ham
Steps (10 steps, 15 minutes)
-
1
Cut a cucumber in to thick chunks and then use a small heart-shaped cutter to punch out some cucumber hearts. Use a knife to cut the hearts in to thin slices.
-
2
Cover the bottom of your bento box with salad leaves and then top with the cucumber hearts.
-
3
Cook the sweet chilli rice and then compress in to a small round bowl (which should be smaller than your bento box). Press it in nice and firm so it doesn't fall apart too much.
-
4
Carefully tip the rice bowl in to the middle of your bento box so that the rice ball falls out neatly.
-
5
Repeat this process with a tablespoon measuring spoon to add two balls for the ears.
-
6
Use a small glass to cut a circle from Quorn ham for the mouth.
-
7
Cut the bottom half off three olives for the eyes and nose.
-
8
Place the mouth in place along with two smaller Quorn ham circles on the ears. I cut these with a bottle top. Put the olive halves in place for eyes and a nose.
-
9
Use scissors to cut a small v shape for the mouth from a sheet of nori.
-
10
Arrange your nori, snacks and sides in the bento and serve!
