I was in an international market and would these cut vermicelli noodles and thought to myself, those look like the noodles in rice a roni... I know I will make my own Rice a Roni! Why not?

You will need

1 tsp dried Parsley 1 cup Rice ⅓ cup cut vermicelli Noodles 2 cup Butter or margarine 1 tsp dried Onion(s) falkes 2 tbsp powdered Chicken broth 2 ½ cup Water Skillet with a lid Measuring Cup

I was in an international market and would these cut vermicelli noodles and thought to myself, those look like the noodles in rice a roni... I know I will make my own Rice a Roni! Why not?

Instructions

1. 

   Find yourself some cut vermicelli.

2. Measure out the ingredients. Heat your skillet... med high.

3. 

   Put butter or margarine in skillet and let melt. Then add rice and vermicelli. Saute until noodles turn golden brown. Stirring regularly

4. 

   While the rice is sauteing measure water and add herbs and chicken broth to the water and microwave for a minute.

5. Add the broth water to the rice in the skillet and cover. Turn the heat down to low and let simmer for 20 minutes. No stirring needed.

6. Fluff and serve your new favorite side dish.
