This recipe is dead simple to make, but when you’re bringing you milk up to temperature you do have to keep your eye on it otherwise it will over boil. The hardest part after that is waiting for everything to get to the point that you can actually eat it. I literally had to tear some people off of the pot before it was done. This recipe serves three, but if you were serving more it would be way easy to double it.

Bring your sugar and milk to just below a boil then add your vanilla and rice.
Cook on medium low heat for about 20 minutes. If it’s not done by then just add some more milk and keep going.
The great thing about rice pudding is that you can serve both hot or cold and it’s amazing. For more info: https://theyearlingblog.wordpress.com/2015/08/13/day-225-rice-pudding/
