So, I saw this waistbelt on Ebay:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Gothic-Taillengurtel-Kamee-Rippen-Skelett-Korsett-viktorianisch-S-M-L-/320900139150?pt=DE_Damenunterw%C3%A4sche&hash=item4ab723888e
And first I didn't really get that it was a belt, I thought it was a wristband and I thought it was pretty cool. A friend asked me wether to do it myself, how much afford that might take and stuff.
I spontaneously decided to just try it :D In wristband-size, of course. ;)

You Will Need (7 things)
- Fusible Interfacing
- Lace Borders
- Bow
- Thin Permanent Marker
- black Fabric Paint
- White Fabric
- Paper For Your Pattern
Steps (11 steps, 60 minutes)
-
1
Start with a stencil. I copied the shape through my computer screen. Cut out the dark parts.
-
2
Transfer it onto fusible interfacing (god, it wasn't easy to find that translation :D).
The interfacing has to be quite thin. And white, of course. -
3
Paint it and cut it into shape.
-
4
Add shadings :)
-
5
Iron it on a piece of white fabric.
-
6
Sew on Lace borders :)
-
7
I also added satin ribbon :)
-
8
Bow. :)
-
9
Sew on a piece of felt on the backside and add a brooch needle. So you can attach it to whatever you like!

For example as a wristband...

If you add a hairclip on the felt it's also possible as a hairclip :) or add feathers and stuff for a fascinator!
