This is extremely easy and is a great alternative for putting up pictures instead of framing everything.

First, start off with some clothespins...you're going to want to paint them. With the clothespins you can get as creative as you want. Do stripes, polka dots! Whatever you want ;) I personally just painted mine black for a more classic look. Let the clothespins dry as you continue onto the next steps.
You'll need some ribbon. The length should be however long you wish. Mine is about 6.5 feet.
Every foot or so, you're going to need to put some push pins into the wall. How I did this was by twisting and pushing them in, it'll take some muscle but it pays off. =) You could maybe try pushing on it with a hammer...but I'm not sure.
Next...hang the ribbon with the push pins. Then, place some photos on the ribbon with the clothespins that you painted (when they're dry).
Voila! You're done ;) ....Mine turned out a little jagged looking because of the ribbon i was using, but I'm sure if you get a flexible ribbon you'll be able to make it more "swoopy".
Yes....that is me with Tim Gunn (from Project Runway)....be jealous. Lol <3
