I was gonna throw these items out.now, they have made themselves useful! i used these shoes during my entire pregnancy and it showed, i used them for errands for work, everything.they got ratty and scuffed and just looked embarrassing. but im sentimental, and couldnt part with the shoes that helped me walk my way to motherhood.<3

Gather your supplies! (wow you can really see how worn my shoes are..)
remove any thing you dont want covered up from your shoes,ie buckles bows etc.
place the fabric over top of the shoe and pin it all around the hole where you put your foot in and along the bottom where the original fabric meets the sole. after its pinned, cut a hole down in the fabric where you would put your foot in.
rough add any embellishments, adjust as needed.
take a look, are you pleased? if not, do number 4 again until its how u like!
sew your fabric in place, starting at the top.this way when you stitch the bottom you can pull it down and tight. i like to use what i call a loopy stitch im hoping this picture kinda shows you what i mean.. (if you know what this stitch is actually called please let me know in the comments lol) try to sew it as close to the inside of the shoe as possible, this way if you mess up, you dont see it as much if at all
sew the fabric to the bottom of the shoe, pulling it nice and tight as you go to reduce wrinkling. sew it as close to sole as possible. then cut all the loose extra fabric off.
Take a look at that! (like i said, i wore these for 9 months straight lol, the inside is worn to heck!i'll be gettin some dr scholls for these!)
