Reuse A Canvas: Diy Sticker Wall Word Art
Reuse a canvas and make your own word art

About
While camping in the Adirondacks last summer, I saw the same adorable, modern word art throughout the souveiner shops proclaiming: The mountains are calling and I must go.
I love everything about the Adirondack Mountains, so these signs immediately caught my eye. I was a fan of the simplicity, the “woodsy” aesthetic and, of course, the quote itself.
My supplies are either from Walmart or generous family members!

You Will Need (6 things)
- Canvas (with a photo/pattern, if possible)
- Sticker Letters
- White Acrylic Paint
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Foam Paintbrush
Steps (5 steps, 60 minutes)
-
1
Draw a line down the middle of the canvas to help you line up your letters. You won’t see this later as you’ll be painting over it.
-
2
Arrange your letters! Luckily, I was able to move the stickers if necessary after placing them. So don’t worry too much about being perfect on the first try.
I ran out of the letter N so I cut a W :) Ingenuity at it’s finest.
-
3
Add one coat of paint; let dry. Add another coat of paint.
-
4
Let second coat dry for about 20 minutes. Then, carefully peel away your letters. If you need to clean up any mistakes (though I like that mine isn’t perfect), try a little isopropyl alcohol.
