Here is my Retro Christmas Ornament free cross stitch pattern. Stitched on 14 ct Aida cloth, with DMC thread (2 strands held together), and shown here in a 4 inch by 6 inch frame. The project is 52 by 74 stitches and would fit comfortably in a 8 inch embroidery hoop.

Please note: This project is for Personal Use only, the pattern and finished project are not to be sold or used for any commercial purposes (don't be that guy!).

You Will Need (4 things)

  • 14 Count Aida Cloth
  • Size 24 Embroidery Needle
  • Light pink, hot pink, silver, dark grey, sky blue, light teal blue Dmc Floss
  • 8 in (Optional) Embroidery Hoop

Steps (5 steps, 300 minutes)

    Gather your supplies, download the 2 attached free pattern/color charts and stitch away!

    After completing the chart, back stitch using silver to add the hook and starburst patterns to the large pink ornament (see attached photo for reference).

    Next, backstitch using silver to add the hook and starburst patterns to small blue ornament (see attached photo for reference).

    Then, backstitch in silver, adding the 3 starburst patterns next to the small blue ornament (see attached photo for reference).

  5. 5

    Finally, backstitch in silver, adding the 2 starburst patterns next to the small blue ornament (see attached photo for reference). Enjoy:)
