I've been having an eye on some resin jewelry for a while. Recently, I have changed my job and now I'm having privileges to arrange my own working time. So here I am, doing what I've been dreaming if...making resin jewelry. This project started about 3 weeks ago. My dad, was my tutor. He gave me a basic explanation on making molds to sanding. The next day, I was in a chemical shop, buying everything I would need to start my very first resin jewelry project! It is very very exciting! I almost couldn't sleep at night couldn't wait till the morning came. The first jewelry that I chose to be on my first experiment is a bangle. I have made my own bangle from a clay. I didn't need to oven the clay. I just waited until it gets harder (took me 4 days). As soon as my clay bangle is ready, I prepared the silicone, mix it with the catalyst and pour it on my clay model. But you know what, I think I put too less catalyst, it's been 2 weeks now since I made this mold, and it didn't entirely dry yet!!! But don't worry, I have made some more, and you will see that I finally made it to the resin bangle that is wearable on the next project. STAY TUNED :) PS: Oh, if you have some tips to help me improve, you're welcomed :) xxx, Pritha
