I've used this for three of my shirts and I just love it. Geeky shirts only come in boy sizes and I love making them girl shirts. They go from barely worn into regular rotation.

I got a nice t-shirt from my boyfriend as a birthday present, but it's way too big (they only had this size) but i want to wear it without looking like i'm camping in my own clothes... this is what i'm going to do to it Happy thanks!

I lost 88 pounds and most of my wardrobe. Today, I altered 3 tee-shirts. I thought I'd never get to wear my favorites again.....but now they fit better than ever

Time to finally tailor my Dropkick Murphys t-shirt... Even though I wear small t-shirts they're still so baggy on me.

Thank you so much, this is a total lifesaver !

Just remember ladies, if your smaller shirt is stretchy, and your large shirt is not, you may have a tight fit across the chest. I suggest your smaller shirt has the same material as the larger so you know it will stretch and fit in the same way.

For the t-shirt I used, the neckline didn't need to be reduced as it looked fine. I'm not sure how you would go about doing it, over than making a new neckline out of extra fabric.

I removed the original sleeves and then sewed new sleeves out of the main part of the t-shirt. To make the sleeves look neater, you would sew a small part of the edge under or go over it with an over-locker.

how do you get the shoulder seam to loook right?..becase the neck hole is larger than the smaller shirt...so the shoulders kind of sag...or either look oddly?

I managed to do that with the less-techical method of "putting it in the tumble dryer for too long"...

Nice one though, hopefully if I lose weight a version of this will help me with all my tent-like clothing ;)
