This is amazing, I go to college & in my 2D Design class a lady makes flowers out of plastic bottles. So looking up plastic bottle ideas, i found this. This sounds amazing ' am going to share this with my class mates. I'm an artist & a crafter, so this sounds so fun & Im obsessed with recycling. I'm going to really share this idea with lots of people, thanks
I try this a few minutes ago.. I really love it but some of the beads (really bad english...:$) the sides went black.. But I paint it green, so it looks really amazing (black, silver?, green, silver, black )
Very few things make me actually laugh out loud, even if I say I LOL'd, but your "5]Heat gun, or if you are ghetto like me, a lighter really did make me laugh out loud. Still giggling.
Great directions, fantastic idea. I'll be trying this.

great! iv'e been looking for an easy way to make beads without having to buy any special tools(i'm kinda broke) and this is just what i wanted. thanks!
omg i made like a gazillion of these
and like i varied the size
i found out if you color them brown
they look bronze!!!
and if you leave them clear it has a really nice
perl shine
i used a candle
This is very cool and I drink so much white tea from plastic bottles and I'm going to try this tonight!
I'm going to use news paper strips to color the beads
I made some today & showed all my friends! And again like all the other projects I have made off of this web site they want on of these braclets too! Here we go again!

my friend Kit is becoming a jeweler or something, 4/6 of the necklaces she's bought are made ;)
maybe I should make some of my own pendants, beads etc and sell them to her? I smell an epiphany x)
I can't wait to make these. My mom has to find the heat gun first. I am going to start hoarding plastic bottles while i wait! i will post my version once i get back from camp and make them

But, isn't plastic toxic when melted. At the very least pretty stinky? How do you overcome that.
Thanks
