I was carrying an empty tp roll to the recycling bin when this fun idea popped into my head. These cool decorations can be used for so much~door hangers, tree decorations or wall decorations. Since our family is doing a 100% recycled and handmade Christmas this year we figured we could make plenty of these to hang everywhere.

take a plain tp roll
if you are savy with scissors you can skip this step, i however had to measure
cut on the lines you made, you should have about 8 pieces that look like this
using what ever type of glue you perfer, glue the points of the star together and clap together till dry, I like to use my old hair clip
after the glue is set remove the clamps, cut a 6 inch piece of jute, tie around one of the petals. there are several variations, be creative
I love glitter! so I dumped some red and gold glitter in a ziplock bag, sprayed the star with "spray adhesive" and tossed it in, remove it from the bag and let it finish drying
tie a ribbon through one star point, add some bells and there you have it
