T-shirt fabric is great to work with, as it doesn’t fray, and with this design, you can change the ribbons to suit your mood.

You Will Need (5 things)
- 1 m snazzy Ribbon
- An old T Shirt
- 1 m Elastic
- Safety Pins
- Needle & Thread or sewing machine
Steps (6 steps, 60 minutes)

Fold t-shirt, and slice off arms diagonally.

Slice straight across neckline

Fold over neckline about an inch, front and back, then stitch along.

Thread a piece of ribbon through each side, and tie in a bow either side of the neck.

Make a discreet hole on the inside of the hem, and thread through elastic, and knot so the t-shirt ruches up, but not to the extent that the waistband cuts off your blood flow.

Your new fangled sun-top is now ready to wear. Slip on, and tie neck bows accordingly, and add a jolly brooch to accessorise.
