My boyfriend and I had an ongoing debate about his daughters old clothing that I had put into a bag to donate to charity. Only his sentimental attachment meant that the bag was never allowed to leave her room. The article in Craftzine "Journey of the Yosehire Quilt" in vol 07 inspired me to retreat back to the bag of clothing and make a father daughter quilt. She loves it and will always be able to look back at her young childhood of clothes and also her Dad's shirts. The second was a quilt from the pants my boyfriend refused to give away even though they had more holes than a teabag.
