I had collected quite a few great images from books & i found this beautiful illustration of a bird’s wing, I wanted to make something with it…so i did some experimenting with an old t-shirt i had & some PVA Glue and came up with a great way of doing so… :)
I had collected quite a few great images from books & i found this beautiful illustration of a bird’s wing, I wanted to make something with it…so i did some experimenting with an old t-shirt i had & some PVA Glue and came up with a great way of doing so… :)
STEP 1: First prepare your t-shirt - lay out onto a flat area and tape it down around the edges. (the red lines are tape)
STEP 2: Then apply a layer of PVA glue all over the non-covered area then leave to dry. (grey square = pva)
STEP 3: Repeat step 2 until the t-shirt is hard and ridged.
STEP 4: Apply your image and cover in PVA. Again repeat step 2.
STEP 5: Now for the back, i left mine white but you could apply another image or some decorative paper. then cover in PVA.
STEP 6: Once it has dried completely cut out the image either with scissors or a craft knife. find the spot where you would want the chain and carefully pierce a big enough hole for the chain then attach the chain to the key ring ring. And you are finished. :3
