Count out the beads you intend to use. You will need the same number of plastic discs, plus one more. Use a small cardboard circle as a rough template. Cut in roughly oval organic shapes and vary the sizes somewhat.
At the narrower end of each disc punch a small hole.
Arrange your discs in a row by size, starting with the smallest ones at each end and working toward the middle (the middle disc being the largest in size).
Cut cord to length (allow enough to be able to tie a bow in the back).
String the beads and discs starting with the smallest (or 1st if all your beads are of a uniform size) and alternating bead, disc, bead, disc until complete.
Place a knot before the 1st bead and after the last bead to hold them all in place.
