You Will Need (4 things)
- Hot Glue Gun
- Magazine(s)
- Paint
- 1 Canvas
Steps (9 steps, 120 minutes)
-
1
Here are the items you will need for painting! Canvas, base paint, paint to splatter, and a paint brush!
-
2
Choose a background color it is up to you! I chose black. It will probably take a couple coats!
-
3
After the base has dried you now should splatter the background! Colors are up to you I like the neon in contrast with the dark background. To splatter the paint make sure you cover everything in close distance the paint really goes everywhere. After you get your paint on the brush just use a hard flicking motion with your wrist. Do for every color. Then let it dry.

4
You want to start with a full page magazine page. Full colored pages tend to look the best.
-
5
Make a tiny roll in the page about this size.
-
6
Roll until it is about the size. Put some hot glue in between the last roll to keep it together. Not too much it will crack the page!
-
7
Form the paper into the letter you want. Wait for the glue to dry because it could also crack the page. When you have the letter the way you want glue it into shape.
-
8
Complete all letters. Some you can't shape until you glue them down. Play around with the pages to get the colors you want and play around with them on the canvas to position them how you like.
-
9
The last step is to glue your design onto the canvas. Shape the letters that still need shaping!
