You Will Need (5 things)

  • Sewing Supllies
  • 2 Metres Of Tulle
  • 2 m Tulle
  • Tricot Velvet Fabric
  • 2 Butterfly Appliqué

Steps (15 steps, 110 minutes)

  1. 1

Find a cheap dress with a potential.

  2. 2

Buy some fabrics and tulle that are (in some sense) opposite color.

  3. 3

Cut the dress into pieces and keep the useful ones.

  4. 4

Make a new top and attach it to sleeves. I sewed it by hand.

  5. 5

Make the skirt part a bit shorter from the top and crimp it to match the new (orange) top.

  6. 6

Put everything together, take a picture and think about it. Now this looks a bit oldfashioned, don't you think?

  7. 7

    Make a lace from leftovers.

  8. 8

Cut the back side of the top.

  9. 9

Add some lace to the top like you mean it.

  10. 10

    Crimp the tulle.

  11. 11

Attach the tulle to the skirt so that it shows just a bit.

  12. 12

    Add a belt if needed...

  13. 13

    ... and some butterflies...

  14. 14

... and some velvet roses too.

  15. 15

    Show off.
