Start by making your paper templates. One large circle for the record, and one smaller circle for the label.
Fold the black leather in two and pin the large template to it and the small template to a contrasting colour of leather.
Cut out two large black circles and one small circle from the contrasting colour.
Punch a hole in the middle of the smaller circle and pin into the middle of one of the large black circles.
Cut a length of leather to the same width and length as your zip.
Sew the small leather circle to the larger leather circle.
Now pin the zip around the top edge of the front circle.
Sew in place, removing the pins as you go.
Open the zip and begin sew the back circle to the other side of the zip.
Fold the top of the leather strip down and stitch in place at the bottom of the zip.
Sew the leather strip around the bottom edge of the front circle.
Your purse should look like this.
Now pin the leather strip along the bottom of the back circle.
Sew in place removing the pins as you go.
Cut off any loose threads.
Fill with change and you're ready to go!
