A cheap sheet of plywood becomes fun and graphic wall art with a set of basic stencils, stain and some white craft paint!

Grab a sheet of wood. Old wood or new wood, any wood will do. ( I used this thin plywood sheet from the hardware store...)
Stain the wood any color (this is a Minwax gray stain) and tape off your border.
Mark out each row with some painters tape and line up your stencils with whatever quote you fancy.
I wanted my letters to be solid, so I filled in the stencil gaps with a small paint brush.
If you'd like to make a frame, that's simple. Just measure and cut 1x2 boards with a mitre saw to give you 45 degree angles on each corner. Glue/ staple the corners and then screw the plywood onto the frame from the back.
Screw in some D rings and wrap with picture wire for hanging.
Sidenote: This is the first few pages of a favorite book, Goodnight Moon. I'd been reciting this from memory to my youngest daughter since she was born this past fall!
