I had a boring black tank hanging around that needed something more. After browsing around on the net, I was inspired to create something new. I bought a weird jumpsuit for 25 cents at a thrift store because it was made of this really pretty mauvish, tan, shiny material. I cut a long hank out of the leg about 5 inches wide. Then I sewed it into a tube and turned it right side out. Next I ironed it nice and flat with the seam on the bottom. Then I ran a gathering stitch down the middle and ruched it up. Then I hand tacked it to the front of the tank. I also turned the ends under before I tacked them in place. Easy and better than a plain top!
