I made this afghan for my husband's boss who is expecting. She didn't want to know the baby's gender so instead of making a yellow and green neutral afghan, I came up with this semi-monochromatic color scheme! Abbreviations: dc – double crochet ch – chain sk – skip sc – single crochet Gauge: 20 stitches =4 inches and 4 rows= 4 inches Notes: The finished dimensions of this afghan are approximately 31.5″ x 31.5″ but sizing will vary based on how tightly or loosely you crochet. To make this blanket larger, chain a multiple of 18 x an odd number (for example, this blanket is a multiple of 18×7). For this particular afghan, I used approximately 1.5 skeins of each color yarn.
