Ramen Burgers

Forget burger buns, these are made from ramen noodles!

You Will Need (7 things)

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Dried Herbs
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • Quorn Burgers of your choice
  • Sauces of your choice

Steps (7 steps, 30 minutes)

    Whisk together the egg with some dried herbs, salt and pepper.

    Cook your ramen noodles in a pan of boiling water and then run under cold water before mixing into the bowl with egg, making sure that every noodle is coated.

    Divide the noodles between four small, stacking, round bowls.

  4. 4

    Cover the noodles with cling film and then firmly press the bowls down on each other, flattening the noodles into a patty. Refrigerate for half an hour.

    Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan until very hot and then carefully pop the noodle buns out of their bowls and into the pan.

    Fry for a few minutes on either side until golden and crispy.

    Serve with your favourite burger!

    We've tried ours with Quorn burgers and barbecue sauce, Quorn chicken burgers with wasabi mayo, and Quorn burgers with fried egg, cheese and relish.
