It was Tom's birthday on Tuesday and I couldn't resit waking him up with a rainbow pancake cake, complete with a candle to blow out.

Mix up your pancake batter by whisking together the flour, baking soda, vegetable oil, salt, egg, chocolate chips and soya milk.
Divide the batter between five glasses and add a few drops of each food colouring to each.
Fry each of the pancakes, one at a time, until cooked on either side. Stack the cooked pancakes on top of each other, spreading each with a layer of peanut butter or nutella.
Mix together icing sugar with a little bit of water until runny.
Drizzle the icing on top and add sprinkles. Serve with a birthday candle if it's a birthday!
