Quorn Chicken 'n Waffles

Vegetarian chicken with cheddar and herb waffles!

You Will Need (13 things)

  • 130 g Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tbsp Dried Herbs
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 8 floz Soya Milk
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 100 g Cheddar Cheese
  • Vegan Bacon Bits
  • 6 Pieces Quorn southern fried chicken bites
  • Honey Mustard
  • Relish

Steps (10 steps, 25 minutes)

    Cook your Quorn chicken bites in the oven, according to the packet.

    Beat together the egg, vegetable oil and soya milk.

    Whisk together the flour, baking powder and dried herbs.

    Whisk the dry ingredients into the wet.

  4. 4

    Season with salt and black pepper.

    Grate in the cheddar cheese and mix well.

    Heat up your waffle iron.

    Spoon a little batter onto your iron, just enough to make one waffle.

    Sprinkle the top with vegan bacon bits.

    Cook until golden, pop on a plate and continue cooking the remaining waffles.

    Once the Quorn chicken is ready, serve hot on top of the waffles and drizzle with honey mustard and tomato relish.
