These cute snowflake decorations are an easy and very cheap christmas project. Make several at once and then hang wherever you like, in singles or on a chain...

You Will Need (5 things)

  • Quillng Tool
  • 5mm Strips Of White Paper
  • Craft Glue
  • Silver Glitter
  • Thread /String/Yarn

Steps (5 steps, 120 minutes)

  1. 1

Have your materials and equipment to hand. Begin by quilling lots and lots of sheets of paper into coiled circles. Tear some of the paper strips in half or quarters to create different sized circles. Pinch some of the circles into different shapes. Use an egg carton or chocolate box to keep the shapes organised.

  2. 2

Arrange your shapes into various patterns over a plastic sheet and glue together carefully. Remember no two snowflakes are the same! Leave to dry.

  3. 3

When dry, brush over a layer of diluted craft glue.

  4. 4

Sprinkle lightly with silver glitter and leave to dry again.

  5. 5

Once sparkly and dry, attach thread to you snowflakes. You could use a little silver thread on single ones to hang on the tree or use several at once on a chain of white yarn as in the picture here.
