I don't always have a reusable coffee cup on me, but it's easy to keep this woolly coffee cup sleeve on hand! Covered in little birdies, this sleeve is not only cute but also a great opportunity to practice stranded knitting without committing to a huge project.

Color A – Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in Maple Syrup or a brown worsted weight yarn
Color B – Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in Wonderland Heather or a pale blue worsted weight yarn

Gauge: 11 stitches x 13 rows = 2 inch x 2 inch

You Will Need (2 things)

  • Us 6/4 Mm Double Pointed Needles
  • Two Colors of Worsted Weight Yarn

Steps (5 steps, 120 minutes)

  1. 1

    Cast on 36 stitches with Color A. Place the stitch marker and join in the round.

  2. 2

    Rounds 1-2:*K1, p1; repeat from * to end with Color A (Brown).

  3. 3

    Rounds 3-14: Work Rows 1-12 of chart.

  4. 4

    Round 15: Knit all stitches with Color A.
    Rounds 16-17: *K1, p1; repeat from * to end with Color A.

  5. 5

    Remove stitch marker and bind off all stitches with Color A.
    Weave in all ends and lightly block the sleeve.
