I've been prettying up the cupboards in my bedroom and really wanted a light-up sign to make it feel like I had my own boutique. It was really easy to make but the signs could be used for all kinds of things!

Start by printing out your desired image on to white card.
Cut out the image.
Glue the image to a sheet of thick plastic using spray mount or any clear spray glue.
Cut the plastic to size.
Cut a strip of black card and fold in a circle to match the size of your image. Staple or glue together to hold it's shape.
Hot glue the image on top of the card circle.
Roll some white card up in to a stick and hot glue on top of your push-light.
This is the tricky bit. Cut two more strips of plastic and glue in a cross at the back of your light. Glue the push light inside the light, making sure your card stick is long enough to touch the front of the light.
Leave to dry.
Push your light on to see if it works!
Optional: Use a hole punch to make holes around the outer edge of your light to create an outer glow.
Mount on the wall and keep yourself amused by pushing it on and off for hours.
