Here at the Purple Purl, we love nothing more than sitting down in one of our cozy purple chairs for an afternoon of knitting -- preferably with a delicious Purly Fog by our side. That delicious combination of Earl Grey tea, vanilla and steamed milk is our house specialty, and it’s just the thing to enjoy on a grey fall day. This quick-and-easy cup cozy will help keep your drink warm while you knit!

You Will Need (2 things)

  • 1 ball (50 g/100 m) Noro Kureyon Yarn (color 349)
  • 4 ½ mm 32-inch Circular Knitting Needles

Steps (4 steps, 60 minutes)

    Using long-tail cast-on, CO 32 sts. Join to work in round using Magic Loop method.

  2. 2

    Establish ribbing pattern: *K2, p2; repeat from * to end of round.

  3. 3

    Continue working in ribbing as established for 3.5 inches/9 cm, or to desired height.

  4. 4

    BO loosely. Sew in ends.
